Upcoming events

It's not too early to start thinking about attending the Northern California Kit Car Club event in Concord, California, September 10-11. It's always a fun, laid-back event with lots of variety in the cars that show up.

September 21-24 are the Run 'N Gun dates for this year. This will be the second year for the event at Motorsport Park Hastings (MPH), Nebraska. Details are still being worked out, but stay tuned to www.runngun.net or www.racemph.com for all the skinny.

Sneak preview of Oct 2011 issue

It's hard to believe but we just finished our October issue and summer isn't even over yet. This issue has a "Racecars for the Street" theme and includes some awesome cars that you won't see anywhere else. Significant among those cars is the new FII Roadsters' intriguing car built on Shelby Series I chassis. Steve Temple reports on the build and the driving experience with some first-hand insight into the origins of the ill-fated chassis. We also have a feature on the Superlite line-up of awesome cars from Race Car Replicas. I won't spoil it but that's just a couple of the features presented in our October issue. It will be heading for mailboxes on Aug 9 and be on the newsstand Aug 30.
